SCUM – Patch 0.6.6.38576 now available

Greetings! The newest patch for SCUM has lots of goodies in stock for server admins, regular survivors, and solo adventurers alike.

Maybe the most impactful change is a whole new location for you to explore and benefit from. But there certainly is a lot more that has changed since our last visit to the island. Find all of the changes below!

New Location

There’s a new place for you to explore: Welcome to the town of Rogoznica! A beautiful coastal location set in the Z3 sector.

Switching Seats

From now on, you no longer have to get out of your vehicle to switch seats. Instead, you can use F1, F2, and F3 to change the seat in case you need a better angle for a shot, or maybe you want to confuse your enemies. Keep in mind though you can only switch to seats you can physically access.

Carcasses

Have you ever been lost in the woods and hungry to the point you could eat a carcass? Well, now you can, but there are no guarantees for the quality of the meat.

Admin Panel

Introducing the Admin Panel, an often-requested tool for server admins. This user-friendly interface allows you to define zones and offers many options for them, such as setting the position, the size, the shape, even the color of each zone. Afterward, you can decide what you want to allow or disallow in it. There are three options for each area to choose from:

• Ignore
• Allow
• Block

Once you’ve set up and configured the different area’s they will show up on your map.

And last but not least: This new feature also works in singleplayer.

Community Showcase

The community showcase is about giving voice to community projects that deserve some love.

This one will prove very useful on your journey across the island. First, introducing the SCUMMAP by Jazi, an interactive map that will help you find what you need. It includes nifty features like distance rules, filters depending on locations, coordinates, and more. It even has support for private servers to create your custom map with zones and everything!
