Hytale Server Commands Guide

When hosting your own Hytale server, learning about the different types of commands will help. Whether you want to teleport somewhere, change gamemodes, ban a player, or anything else – commands are required. There will be many situations where these come in handy, making it essential to learn about them. In this Nitrado guide, we’ll showcase various Hytale server commands to get you started 🔥

Command List

Almost all of the commands require some permission level, so we recommend becoming an admin. This gives you access to everything on your Hytale server. Additionally, we are not covering the entire list of commands in this guide. Refer to the /help command in-game to view them all.

Admin Commands

Command	Description
/spawning	Commands related to NPC spawning.
/ban	Ban a player from the server.
/unban	Unbans a player from the server.
/gamemode	Change a player’s gamemode.
/give	Spawn items for a player in-game.
/heal	Heals up to your max health and stamina.
/kick	Kicks a player from the server.
/op	Gives admin permissions to a player or yourself.
/perm	Main permissions command for groups or users.
/plugin	Main command to manage plugins.
/stop	Forcibly shuts down the server.
/sudo	Run a command as another player.
/tp	Teleport to a specific location or player in-game.
/whitelist	Main command to manage the server whitelist.

World Commands

Command	Description
/block	Main command for blockstates, debugs, and more.
/chunk	Main command for chunk info, loading, and more.
/fluid	Control fluids at a specific location or radius.
/lightning	Control and retrieve information for world lighting.
/path	Main command for managing NPC patrol paths.
/time	Change the world’s time in-game.
/weather	Change the world’s weather in-game.
/world	Main command to manage all worlds in the server.

Builder Commands

Command	Description
/copy	Copy the contents of your in-game selection, storing them to your clipboard to paste.
/cut	Remove the contents of your in-game selection.
/editprefab	Main command for managing or creating new prefabs.
/fillblocks	Fills the air in your selection with a specified block type.
/paste	Paste the contents from your clipboard.
/pos1	Set the first position of your selection.
/pos2	Set the second position of your selection.
/prefab	Save, load, delete, or list all prefabs.
/replace	Replace a selection with your specified block type.
/undo	Undo recent changes.

Player Commands

Command	Description
/damage	Hurts the target player’s health.
/emote	Plays an emote in-game.
/help	Shows the entire list of commands.
/kill	Kills and respawns the target player.
/mount	Dismount yourself, target players, or check the status of a player’s mount.
/ping	Shows the target player’s latency and ticks.
/spawn	Teleport to the world’s spawn location.
/warp	Main command for managing warp teleport locations.
/whoami	Prints your player information in-chat.
