Dune: Awakening Console Servers Now Available at Nitrado

Dune: Awakening arrives to everyone on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S today! Console players can rent their own private server at Nitrado from day one. Pick from PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series and get your own persistent Hagga Basin inside a shared World with social hubs and the Deep Desert.

The 1.5 Update

The console release ships with Update 1.5, which is live across all platforms. The update adds a single-player mode, a character-centric main menu, and the closing chapter of the Book One story. You now create and browse your characters from the main menu and choose where to bring them each session. Characters on private servers can move between private servers, and backed-up bases and vehicles travel with them. Funcom’s console release patch notes list every change.

Is Crossplay Available?

Dune: Awakening does not have full crossplay at present. PC players cannot join a PlayStation 5 or Xbox server, and PlayStation 5 players cannot join an Xbox server. The exception is Xbox and the Windows PC Store, with players on those platforms able to share a server. Funcom has confirmed crossplay will be available at a later date, and we will keep the community informed as soon as it’s available at Nitrado.
