    Euro Truck Simulator 2 – How to Add Mods

    First, go to the Steam Workshop and find the mods you want. Subscribe to them so Steam will automatically install them in your game.

    Once the mods are installed, start the game and click on the “MOD Manager.”

    Here, you’ll see all your installed mods. You can add them by clicking the button with the two arrows.

    Note: Incompatible mods will not be added and will remain on the left side.

    When the mods are active, your screen should look like this:

    After that, enter the map and wait a few minutes. Then, perform the export as previously described in the guide Euro Truck Simulator 2 – Server First Configuration.

    Once the export is complete and the two files are uploaded to the server, you can check if the server has loaded the mods by viewing the real-time server console.

    In the console, scroll up until you see the line “[MP] Session Automated start.” The loaded mods will be listed as shown in the following image:

    Now that the mods are properly installed on the server, you can join and start playing with them.
