FAQ – RuneScape: Dragonwilds Local Saves

Where is my local world save for RuneScape: Dragonwilds?

Use the Windows Key + R and enter %appdata%\..\Local\RSDragonwilds\Saved\SaveGames to open your local world file location. If you installed the game elsewhere and/or manage the world saves in a different area, look there instead.

Why can’t I upload my world file to my RuneScape: Dragonwilds server?

When you click “Upload File” from the File Browser, you will be asked to find the file. Make sure you are in the same local directory that the save file is located, then select it. Otherwise, you can copy and paste the .sav file on your desktop for easy access. Alternatively, you can use an external program to upload the world file. We recommend using FileZilla, CyberDuck, or WinSCP.

Why isn’t my RuneScape: Dragonwilds server using my uploaded world?

After successfully uploading the world file on your server, you must enter the exact name in the DefaultWorldName option via Settings > General in your Web Interface. Do not add the “.sav” in the field, only the name of your world. If it still doesn’t work, then double-check the location you uploaded it.
