ARK Extra Life 2023 Recap – Introduction

This December 2nd, 2023, ARK survivors came together to make a difference in the world through an ARK Extra Life 2023 event. This monumental occasion featured a 24-hour stream, allowing users to tune in and participate. Some of the exciting highlights included ARK: Survival Ascended game update details, partner collaborations, increased official rates, and tons more. 

The generosity during this year’s Extra Life event within a 24-hour period was phenomenal. In total, the community came together to raise $118,138! Hundreds of thousands of viewers tuned in, cheered the charity team on, and donated to this amazing cause. The 8th annual Extra Life fundraiser was a resounding success with a major appreciation to the dedicated streamers who took the time to raise money for this event!

ARK Extra Life 2023 Reveals – ASA Roadmap

As mentioned, lots of exciting news was announced during the event! This not only included sister DLC expansions and information on ARK Survival of the Fittest, but also offered us a incredible look at the roadmap for 2024 and 2025. We’ll break down everything that was announced and provide you with even more details on the future of ARK!

ARK: Survival Ascended DLC Roadmap

So much information was shared at the ARK Extra Life 2023 event, but one of the most thrilling announcements was the content roadmap. This features a look at everything to come, starting with ARK: Survival Ascended’s release in October and finishing with the Lost Island DLC release in August 2025. That isn’t all either, as new content is expected after this roadmap has ended. This means that survivors can not only expect their beloved DLC maps to be recreated in Unreal Engine 5, but more map mayhem will continue after that! Which DLC are you most excited to see in ARK: Survival Ascended?

ARK: Survival Ascended Expansion Packs

Continuing from the main DLC announcements, we were also informed that new complimentary packs would be released alongside them. One such example they included was a new Frontier Adventure and Western Pack, along with cowboy & cowgirl outfits / accessories. With Scorched Earth’s DLC release in March 2024, you’ll be able to waltz into the scorching desert lands of ARK in style!

ARK Survival of the Fittest Release Information

If a Western attitude and 10+ DLC release dates were not enough, we also learned that ARK: Survival of the Fittest has an official release date: December 20th, 2023. To top that off, it’ll include full crossplay compatibility across PC, Xbox, and PlayStation. More information is expected closer to its release, especially since the hype continues to build for this dino battle royal style gamemode!
