Platform Engineer (m/f/x) 在 Nitrado

Your mission

• You are responsible for the operation of our on-prem Kubernetes clusters via Rancher and ensure their stability, security, and continuous updates.
• You optimize our metrics infrastructure (e.g., Prometheus / VictoriaMetrics) through targeted tuning, alerting, and retention management.
• You are the owner of central services such as Grafana, Harbor, and HashiCorp Vault and ensure their high availability.
• You manage our storage solutions (Ceph and/or Linstor) and confidently master capacity planning, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• You further develop our KVM-based VM platform, automate provisioning, and guarantee high-performance resource distribution.
• You maintain our logging environment (e.g., OpenSearch) from the ingestion process to index management and data retention.
• If there is a hitch anywhere, you get to the bottom of the problem and analyze the cause methodically – whether at the Linux/VM, network, storage, or application level.
• You eliminate manual effort through consistent automation and standardization (e.g., via runbooks and IaC).
• You work closely with the dev teams, help with platform topics, and ensure that deployments and operations function well.

Your profile

• Several years of experience in infrastructure or platform operations (e.g., as a DevOps / Platform Engineer).
• In-depth knowledge of administration and troubleshooting in productive Linux environments.
• Proficient with Kubernetes, ideally on-prem.
• Practical experience with monitoring/metrics (Prometheus and/or VictoriaMetrics).
• Experience with container registries (e.g., Harbor) and common container/Helm workflows.
• Experience with Vault (or a comparable secrets solution) – policies/auth/secret lifecycle are not foreign concepts to you.
• Knowledge of Ceph and/or Linstor or similar distributed storage solutions.
• You think and work in a structured manner, use ticketing systems like Jira and document consistently, stay calm during incidents, and communicate clearly with the team.
