How to Add Mods to a LOTR Moria Server

Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria Mods

Before you begin the installation process, you must first find and download the mod files. You can find and download mods from NexusMods, but you can also use other third-party sites. Mods aren’t only .pak files, they also have .ucas and .utoc files. Keep this in mind when downloading and extracting mods to your computer.

⚠️ Have the raw mod files somewhere easily accessible for the installation process.

Adding Mods to LOTR Moria Servers

 
1. Log in to your Nitrado web interface and Stop your server.

 

2. In the left-hand menu, click on the Tools > File Browser tool.
   

 

3. Navigate to the core game file path: Moria/Content/Paks/.
   

 

4. Look for a folder named ~mods inside the Paks directory.
   Note: If this does not exist, create a new directory named “~mods” before proceeding.

 

5. Open up this folder, then use the Upload File button to transfer all the mod files.
   

 

6. Return to the dashboard and click Start to bring your server back online.

 

7. Join your server in-game to confirm that the new mods have loaded.
