What is the Xbox Server Boost?

On the Nitrado website, servers can be easily boosted. However, for servers ordered through our app, this isn’t possible, which is why we have the “Server Boost” feature. Players can use the “Boost Code” set by the server owner to extend the server’s runtime.

Boosting a Server

To boost a server, you’ll need a Nitrado account. You can create one here: Nitrado. Additionally, you’ll need to install the Nitrado app from the Microsoft Store on an Xbox or on a PC with Windows 10.

How to Use the Boost Code

Once logged into the app with your Nitrado account, you can boost the desired server using the Boost Code.

On the left hand side of the app look for the “Boost a Server” section and click on it.

Enter the boost code you have received from the server owner.

The Boost Code is necessary to assign runtime to the desired server. Each server has its own Boost Code, which can be defined by the server owner in the settings.

Set Up Server Boost

To activate the Boost feature on a server, you need to select the server you want first so, log in to the Nitrado app.

On the left hand side click on “My servers”

Select the server on which you want to enable the Boost Code.

You will be presented with a panel where you can enable boosting for your recently selected server.

Click on “Enabled” and configure your welcome message and your thank you message.

You will receive a confirmation that boosting is now enabled and a boost code, this is the code you need to send to the players that want to boost your server.

Do not forget to click on “Save settings” at the bottom of the page to finish the setup.

Finally, verify that the Boosting now shows as “Enabled”

With that you have successfully enabled boosting on your server and can now share your code with players in your server so they can boost the server.
