New Features for Dune: Awakening Servers

As more and more players begin exploring the vast world of Dune: Awakening, more server owners are building communities. For those of you who want to further customize and moderate your multiplayer experience, we have good news! We heard all the feedback and decided to implement two new features: custom login messages and a player ban list interface. Both of these will help you create the best Dune: Awakening server community, as it gives you a method to make announcements and easily moderate players.

Dune: Awakening – Features for Communities

The new features include a Message of the Day (MOTD) and Player Ban List. These are designed to help server owners manage their communities with ease and clarity. From welcoming new players to handling unwanted behavior, both features improve your server. Out of all the hosting options, we’re the first to add the MOTD and Player Ban List for Dune: Awakening.

Message of the Day (MOTD)

Server owners and admins can now create a custom message that appears in-game to every player upon connecting. This is ideal for community announcements, server rules, socials, or to welcome newcomers. The MOTD is an effective way to communicate to all players, making it an essential part of customizing your Dune: Awakening server.

• Upon restarting the server, the message will be activated

Player Ban List

Troublemakers beware! We implemented a new ban list interface that gives server owners precise control over who stays – and who goes. Whether it’s a permanent or temporary punishment, you can easily do it. This also includes an attached reason for the ban, which players will see upon joining the server.

• Bans apply instantly, no restart needed
• Online players can be banned in real time
• Banned players get a 2-minute warning to log off safely
• All bans are managed easily through the Nitrado Web Interface
