Inside the battles of Chivalry 2, over 2 million players come together in an attempt to come out on top and claim victory on their favorite maps! With the growing popularity and the launch of Chivalry 2 private servers exclusively at Nitrado, having your own server is a great way to play with friends. When playing on a server, one of the most important aspects to your experience will be the maps and gamemodes cycled through in what is called the Chivalry 2 map rotation. This offers the ability to change between Team Objective, Team Deathmatch, Last Team Standing, and other gamemodes to truly bring the ultimate war experience into your player’s hands. In this guide, we will cover how to set a map rotation on your Chivalry 2 server to bring it to the next level!

Before you can jump into preparing a Chivalry 2 map rotation, it’s important to know what maps are supported. Below, we will list every map categorized by their supported gamemode and then jump into how to add them to your rotation!

Note: Unofficial servers currently do not support Arena maps.

Setting a Chivalry 2 Map Rotation on Your Server

1. Head to your Chivalry 2 server.
2. To the left under Settings, press General.
   
3. In your settings, under the Map section find Map rotation.
4. Proceed to add the maps, one per line, to this list:
   
5. After adding the map rotation list, press Save changes.
6. Lastly, restart your Chivalry 2 game server.

Upon restart, your server will now use the map rotation you set! There are a few important things to keep in mind with the map rotation:

• After server restart the server will always start with FFA_Duelyards.
• The server holds an index of the current map in the map order.
• If the server is 3 maps in, and the server restarts, a server restart will cause the server to go to FFA_Duelyards as the default, and then navigate to map index 4.
