Can’t Find My Enshrouded Server Troubleshooting

When hosting your Enshrouded servers, one of the common issues is being unable to find it to join. There are a few reasons for it, but all of them have easy fixes! Whether you’re trying to search for it in-game or join via IP:Port, there are a few tricks to get everything working. In this Nitrado guide, we’ll show you how to find your Enshrouded server and cover some general troubleshooting tips 👏

Enshrouded Server Status

One of the first actions to take is double-checking your server status. Make sure that your Enshrouded server is online from the Nitrado Web Interface. If it’s offline, turn it online and wait for the server to load. If the server is already online, then you’re good to continue troubleshooting.

Checking Server Name

We highly recommend confirming your Enshrouded server name in the Settings > General section of your web interface. The Servername option near the top will display the name of your server used for players to search up in-game. You can turn off the server to make changes to it, if you want. Copy and paste it somewhere easily accessible, so you can use it to find the server.

In-game Server Browser

With the server online and you confirmed the name of it, begin trying to find it in-game. Launch Enshrouded and head towards the in-game browser. Ensure that you’re in the Dedicated Server category at the top and the filters on the left are set up properly. Afterwards, type or paste your server name in the search bar.

You will need to wait a few minutes for Enshrouded to find your server. Please be patient, as sometimes the search needs to be refreshed a few times before it actually appears in the list. In the event it still does not show for you, then restart the server and your game – then try again.

Steam Game Servers

The best method to find your Enshrouded server is using Steam’s Game Servers list. This can be accessed directly from your Steam client, View > Game Servers at the top left. Click on Favorites and press the Plus (+) icon to add the server. Enter your Server IP:Query Port, which is found on your web interface at the top left corner.
 
Do not use the Game Port or RCON Port when searching for the server while using this method. If successful, the server should appear almost instantly in your Favorites lists. If it does not, double-check the port and server status.
