Editing Server Settings

Tweaking the settings on your server is one of the best ways to fix overloaded issues. More specifically, editing the weather frequency and enemy amount. There are other options too, which you may choose to adjust.

1. Head towards your Nitrado Web Interface and stop the server.
2. Navigate to Settings > General on the left.
   
3. Set the Game Difficulty Preset to Custom in the options.
   
4. Scroll down and set Weather Phenomena Frequency to Disabled.
   
5. Set the Enemy Amount setting to Few.
   
6. Click Save Changes at the bottom, then start up the server.

Automated Restarts

Another good method to keep your server healthy is performing regular restarts. This can be automated in your web interface at a specific time you want. This allows the server to effectively be unclogged and restart to a clean boot (without removing any in-game progress).

1. Stop your server from the Nitrado Web Interface.
2. Navigate to Tools > Automated Tasks on the left.
   
3. Configure the time intervals and dates for the new task.
   
4. Ensure the Action is set to Restart Gameserver.
   
5. Click Add, then your server will automatically restart per your config.
