Introducing Lucky Block Battle, a NeoForge mod for Minecraft that allows the player to break it for random events. On one hand you could get really good items and the other – death. It all depends on your luck!
 
Over 10 years ago, German creators Tom Shuffle and Hardi captured millions of views with their legendary video series with this mod. That duo is reunited and back to start a new series, and Nitrado is helping. We’re supplying them with a Minecraft server to host their new Lucky Block Battle content, where each of them must test their luck.
 
In this quick guide, we’ll show you how to install and use Lucky Block Battle in Minecraft.

What is Lucky Block Battle?

Lucky Block Battle is a minigame where players break random lucky blocks to gain weapons, armor, traps, or hostile mobs before fighting to the death in a custom map. Tom Shuffle and Hardi built a massive following around this format starting back in 2015. Their videos shaped the childhoods of countless German players who watched them race for gear and dodge unexpected explosions.

To make running this exact map and mod easy, we added their official world layout and config straight into our system. Everything runs on NeoForge 1.21.6, giving you the exact same setup the creators use in their reunion videos. You can also customize your server by adding extra block variants to your server files.
 
We recommend also installing the Spiral Lucky Blocks addon for the mod. This introduces 200 more drops and 50 custom ones, along with new items. Your favorite German creators use it!

How to Install Lucky Block Battle

⚠️ You must have the modpack installed on your launcher and server to play.
Follow these sections to install Lucky Block Battle in Minecraft:

Server Installation

1. Head towards your Nitrado Web Interface.
2. Click Switch Game on the left.
   
3. Search for “Lucky Block Battle” and click Install.
   
4. Select Lucky Block Battle and click Install again.
   
5. Wait for the server to load everything.

Client Installation

1. Install CurseForge on your PC and create a NeoForge 1.21.6 profile.
2. Download Lucky Block Battle and add it to your new profile.
3. Do the same for Kotlin, a required dependency.
4. Try joining the Minecraft server with this profile.
