The Eco Update Beta 7.2.0 brings a performance boost, many small adjustments, and a few bug fixes!

With the release of the new update, the developers have made a lot of minor adjustments and, above all, improved the performance of the game. The last “stress test” was quite successful for Eco. With stats that the server was able to record, Nearly 70 players, spread over 16km². The developers themselves have made it their mission to improve the performance of the game in the future, as long as a smooth interaction of up to 100 players on a server is possible.
The “connect-to-server” process of the client itself has been optimized and shortened. This should allow a faster connection. In addition, the statistics were reintroduced, which also enjoyed a tremendous performance boost. These can now also be deactivated manually if this should lead to a renewed performance break-in.

In addition to these optimizations, Beta Update 7.2.0 also brings minor adjustments in the game itself. World generator and Wordlayergenerator have been redesigned to make the world more natural. The different levels are more dynamic and the biomes are bigger. Likewise, the construction mode has been revised. This now works much smoother and offers an in-world-cursor to target the blocks. This function can be deactivated in the advanced settings.

Also in the gameplay itself, something has changed. As a new player, you now start with the basic tools of the game and have the choice to follow specific tutorials. This comes with changes in the agricultural field of the game. There are new seeds to find and recipes to craft. You can also find acorns and pine cones in the woods.
Your dead plants disappear on their own after 24 hours. Sea urchins, clams and seaweed can be harvested since the beta update, and two new skills can be learned in the area of fishing.
