Conan Exiles Update – Age of Sorcery Chapter 3 – New Features

Journey System Revamp

First on your quest to become a dark magical sorcerer, you’ll be presented with a new “Exiles Journey” system in Conan Exiles. In this system, you and your friends will be guided through the different steps to becoming a survivor, warrior, archer, armorer, tinkerer, and more. Upon completion, you’ll also be presented with rewards to help you along your journey. Through this, you’ll be able to better track and complete all of the quests for the ultimate Conan Exiles update Age of Sorcery chapter 3 adventure!

Mek-Kamoses’ Spire

As a large part of the overhauls in the Age of Sorcery Chapter 3 update, the Mek-Kamoses’ Spire has seen a cosmetic rework. Inside the spire, the powerful sorcerer Mek-Kamoses awaits to guide you in the ways of becoming the ultimate sorcerer. From collecting new resources to Golem Shaping, there will be plenty to do in this re-worked area for you and your friends!

Golem Shaping Guide – Creation, Shaping, & Purpose

After meeting the great sorcerer Mek-Kamoses, you’ll be tasked with collecting a mysterious new resource known as Blood Crystals. It is said that when ancient Giant Kings fell, their blood seeped into the Earth and after eons, cooled and hardened into crystals. Now, these crystals have risen to the lands animating them into creatures. You and your friends will be able to seek out and slay these creatures for crystals. Once you have some blood crystals, you can then speak with Master Carver Huang who stands close outside the Mek-Kamoses’ Spire to learn how to shape your own golem!

Shaping a Golem

After you have talked with Master Carver Huang, you and your fellow sorcerer barbarians can craft the Golem Workbench and the Guardian Assembly Station. From there, you’ll see a number of slots each representing the parts of the golem’s body. Using the workbench, you can craft the different golem parts and then assemble them in the assembly station. The different materials you use will impact the golem overall, with the most powerful material being pure blood crystals. Then, it’s time to attach a weapon to your golem. This is done by refusing the weapon to the golem’s arm part using the workbench. Whether that’s an axe, making the golem great at cutting down trees, or a scythe so that the golem can gather plants.

A Golem’s Purpose

The last step in creating your own golem involves giving it a purpose. Right after a golem is created, it’ll follow and defend you from using whichever weapon it was given. You can place material within the golem’s inventory and if you’re near that area and it has the proper weapon, it’ll automatically begin going to and harvesting that material. If you’d prefer a war machine, using the golem workbench you can create some unique customizations including a lightning rod guardian head that lets your golem harness the power of lightning. Or a lotus burner guardian torso for a mighty buff to your golem. Golems can also be coated with brimstone or tar during creation, allowing them to have special abilities such as choking enemies that emit a gas cloud or dropping tar puddles on the ground that can be ignited.
 
It’s important to keep in mind that golems cannot be repaired and so they will break down over time. If you find that your golem is beginning to wear away, you can return to golem shaping to create another one. As you adventure through the Exiled Lands, you’ll be able to collect more and better golem parts that can be combined for a superior golem. With so many possibilities, weapons, and golem parts, we can’t wait to see what types of golems players craft on their Conan Exiles server!

Kurak Boss Dungeon

A new and deadly boss dungeon lies in wait for you and your friends to take on. In it, players can finally clash with Kurak, the one behind the dangerous spread of sorcery. Finally, after an epic culmination of the Age of Sorcery, we’ll be able to discover the end of the storyline in this final battle!

Battle Pass and Bazaar

Similar to the past two Age of Sorcery updates, chapter 3 adds a new Battle Pass and Bazzar items for players to buy. In the Battle Pass, players can complete challenges to earn rewards, with there being more premium rewards for players who purchase the pass. Plenty of exciting sorcery and barbarian goods await you and your friends to earn!
