Whether it is for defense, exploration, combat, or resource gathering, having them tamed means you can do a lot of activities. However, this process can be very time-consuming for most players.. With this in mind, we present to you one great aspect of the game: the ability to spawn different dinosaurs and creatures through admin commands any time you want.

How to Spawn Dinos in ARK: Survival Ascended

The ARK Dino Spawn Commands are commands that players can use in the game to spawn dinosaurs and creatures. There are three principal commands for you to start spawning dinos:

• cheat Summon – Spawns a wild creature of the specified type at your current location.
• cheat SummonTamed – Spawns a force-tamed creature of the specified type at your current location.
• cheat GMSummon – Spawns a creature of the specified type at your current location, tames it, and you can determine the level you want the creature to be. The creature will not be cheat-tamed, so it will still require a saddle.

For executing these commands, you have to become an admin.

1. First, set yourself as an admin in your game:

• Go to your server web interface
• Under SETTINGS, click on General
• Find the Admin password and set it
• Save the changes and restart your server to apply those correctly

Access the command console in your ARK game.

• PC – Tab key (if using keyboard and mouse on a console this will also work)
• PS4 – L1, R1, Square, and Triangle (while in the pause menu)
• Xbox One – LB, RB, X, and Y (while in the pause menu)

Now you can enter ARK commands in the game console

The first command you have to enter in the console is to get you admin access: enablecheats .

Once you are an admin in your game you can now spawn all dinosaurs and creatures you want using Dino Spawn Commands.

To use these commands you need to know the ID of the dinosaur or creature you want to spawn. You can find all creature IDs here. Depending on which spawn command you’ll use this is how you should enter it in the console:

• cheat Summon: cheat Summon

• cheat SummonTamed: cheat SummonTamed

• cheat GMSummon: cheat GMSummon

Using these commands will allow you to populate your server as you wish!
