Age of Sorcery Chapter 1 & 2 – Story Recap

Age of Sorcery was the beginning of a new era for Conan Exiles as it marked the start of consistent updates that are categorized in Ages. Each Age will contain a unique storyline with temporary and permanent features in addition to gameplay improvements.
 
Age of Sorcery Chapter 1 introduced sorcery and its corruption to the game, which are a huge part of the update, alongside new lore, an overhaul of attributes, perks, thralls, the building system, and the addition of a Battle Pass & the Bazaar. Sorcery not only offers a lot of utility and quality-of-life improvements but also some versatility in combat. It’s been integrated in a way that fits Conan Exiles. Not with flashy spells or gigantic fireballs, but with ritualistic magic requiring sacrifices and your own life force. Chapter 2 added an additional combat component with the bounty missions and the Witch Hunt Encounters, as well as other minor features like new weapons, decorations, armor sets, and Twitch drops.
 
Age of Sorcery Chapter 3 is the last part and the grand finale of the storyline of Age of Sorcery.

Conan Exiles Update Age of Sorcery Chapter 3 – New Features

Continuing where Chapter 2 left off, Age of Sorcery Chapter 3 ushers in the final part of your path to becoming a full-fledged sorcerer. An eclipse will cover the lands in a dark red tint and you’ll have to unveil the mystery of Kurak and explore a new region.

Journey System Revamp

The new and improved “Exiles Journey” system is here and leads you through your quest for glory in Conan Exiles. Players will be guided through each step in their journey with rewards awaiting them after finishing each part. With this nothing will be missed and every single step will be accompanied by a thorough explanation.

Mek-kamoses’ Spire

Mek-kamoses’ Spire is getting a cosmetic rework with the Age of Sorcery Chapter 3 update and will look better than ever before. With a new look and additional props around the area, Set’s worshippers are sure to increase as you offer human hearts to the great Serpent God.

Golem Shaping

One of the most exciting features coming to Conan Exiles with the Age of Sorcery Chapter 3 update is the new follower type: Golem. The best part? They are here to stay! Golems will be a permanent feature and will help players with harvesting resources and slaying your foes. They are customizable and come in 3 different tiers. To create a golem you need to obtain blood crystals, which are harvestable from corpses of certain enemies, and assemble the golem at a new crafting station.

Kurak Boss Dungeon

The devs of Funcom have yet to announce anything about the new boss dungeon, in which players will clash with Kurak, the one behind the spread of sorcery. In their latest blog on the official Conan Exiles website, one of the features listed is the new dungeon where players will fight Kurak in the epic culmination of the Age of Sorcery. We are curious about how this final battle with him will end the storyline.

Battle Pass and Bazaar

As with the previous two updates, Age of Sorcery Chapter 3 adds a new Battle Pass and Bazaar items for players to buy and earn their cosmetic rewards. Rewards can be earned even without buying the Battle Pass, by completing challenges while progressing the story.

We are sad to see the Age of Sorcery ending, but excited for a new set of chapters to come in the next update. Funcom hasn’t announced the title of the next update yet, but we are nonetheless thrilled to see what they have in store for us!
