How To Properly Use Donations

Hello! In this guide, we will demonstrate how donations between accounts work and how you can easily share costs with others!

Donating to Accounts

Whether you’re dividing the rental cost of a server among friends or supporting a community server, donating Nitrado Credit is a convenient solution. However, please note that due to security and fraud protection measures, Credit cannot be directly transferred between accounts. The donation process is similar to adding credit to your own account.

Where to Start?

• In the upper right corner of your screen, click on your username. Look for the option labeled “Donate”

• A popup window will appear that looks like this:

• Your country should be pre-selected, reflecting your current location.
• Next, enter the Username or Email of the recipient who will receive the donation.
• You can also add a purpose for the donation, such as: “My share for the server” or “Donation from Zach.”

• Important: Donations can only be completed if both the sender and receiver are using the same currency. If not, the donation will not be possible.
• To change the currency, click on the icon in the upper right-hand corner where your current country and currency are displayed. Select the desired currency. If you have existing credit in a different currency, a small fee will apply due to exchange rates. If your balance is zero, no fee will be charged.
• Once a valid recipient is set, Options 2 and 3 will appear, allowing you to select the donation amount and choose a payment method.
• Afterward, the process will continue similarly to a regular credit charge. Follow the steps to complete the transaction, and the donation will be applied to the recipient’s account.

How to Use Your Donation Link

If you are running a server and want to receive donations, you can send your donation link directly to users who wish to donate. To do this, follow these steps:

• Log in to your account and click on “My Account”.

• On your account page, find the section labeled “My Donation Link”.

• You can now copy this link and send it to anyone interested in donating to your server.

Note: Keep in mind that for others to donate to your server, they must have a Nitrado account and be logged in.
